Assembly

1. Unboxing:

  • Carefully open the corrugated shipping box. Be cautious when using sharp objects to avoid puncturing the fabric of the dog bed.

2. Preparing the Bolsters:

  • For extra plushness, we recommend placing the bolsters in your dryer on a low tumble cycle before the first use.

3. Assembling the Bed:

  • Flip the bed cover so the bottom (navy blue side) is facing up.
  • Unzip the bottom compartment and insert the CoolCloud™ cushion. Zip it up securely to hold the cushion in place.

4. Installing the Bolsters:

  • Unzip the bolster compartments located in the midsection of the bed. Make sure each zipper is fully opened.
  • The Rufus Dog Bed comes with two smaller bolsters (for the sides) and one large bolster (for the back).
  • Start by placing one of the smaller bolsters into its slot. Fully zip up this section before moving on to the next.
  • Repeat the process with the larger back bolster, zipping up the compartment after inserting it.
  • Finally, install the third bolster and ensure all zippers are fully closed.

5. Final Touches:

  • Tuck the zipper handles under the overhanging fabric to keep them hidden from your dog. This reduces the chances of your dog chewing on the zipper handles.

And voilà! Your dog is now ready for the best sleep of their life.

Wash & Care

1. Unzip and Remove Cushion:

  • Unzip the bottom of the bed and carefully remove the CoolCloud™ cushion from the cover.

2. Unzip and Remove Bolsters:

  • Unzip the bolster section located along the midsection of the bed. Remove all three washable bolsters from their compartments.

3. Washing Instructions:

  • Place the washable bolsters and the removable cover in the washing machine. Use cold water and select the delicate cycle.
  • After washing, place the bolsters and cover in the dryer on a cool/low tumble dry setting.

4. Cleaning the CoolCloud™ Cushion:

  • Wash the CoolCloud™ cushion over a sink, in the shower, or with a hose. Use mild detergent. Shake then air or fan dry. Avoid heat or direct sun. Spot clean as needed. For unsanitary messes, use a 1:10 bleach solution for thorough cleaning.
